When Daniela Moreira moved to the U.S. from her native Argentina, it was her dream to study culinary arts and to one day be an executive chef. Daniela enrolled in the culinary arts program at the Carlos Rosario School in 2011 and graduated in the summer of 2012 after a highly successful year. At the graduation, Daniela was awarded a matching scholarship in partnership with one of the most prestigious culinary schools in the U.S., the Culinary Institute of America. Daniela enrolled in the school’s culinary program in the fall of 2012 and recently completed her first year. This hardworking student tackled a rigorous curriculum while actively participating in student groups and holding a cumulative GPA of 3.5. This past summer Daniela put her skills to the test during a summer externship at 3 Star Michelin restaurant Eleven Madison Park in New York City. Today Daniela is looking ahead to a bright future where her dream of becoming an executive chef is within reach.
