Construction: OSHA30 Class

The Carlos Rosario School-OSHA30 Class is unique because it is the only construction safety class offered in Spanish in the evenings in the DMV.  The class is taught by OSHA Instructor, Jorge Otalora, Safety Supervisor in the industry and subject matter expert.  Carlos Rosario School has offered the OSHA30 Class since the Fall of 2018 and has provided a special class that is tailored to the students and the Latino construction workforce.  At the end of the semester, the student will receive an OSHA30 Certificate and an official OSHA30 Construction Safety Card.  Additional soft skills that are developed are; leadership skills, safety awareness, and a deeper understanding of career paths in the construction. Construye DC+/OSHA30 is open to applicants from DC, Maryland, and Virginia

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction or related background preferred
  • Spanish (native speaker)
  • Advising session with program lead or designee
