To enroll or register at the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School (CRPCS), you will need to bring the following:
- Fee of $20.00 dollars cash.
- Certificate that your immunizations/boosters are up to date (students under 26 years of age only).
- An official Identification Card with your name, and a picture (document may be from the U.S. or from another country)

Funding for the courses offered at Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School comes from a variety of public and private sources, including the Government of the District of Columbia. Therefore, for many courses only students who live in Washington, D.C. are eligible to enroll. The Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School has to follow strict requirements for proof of your current DC address.
We ask that you submit proof that you live in Washington, D.C. by presenting documents as listed in Columns A, B, & C below. Documents must be current, issued in the forty-five (45) days prior to enrollment (unless otherwise stated) and be in the students legal name. Please make sure to read carefully the chart with instructions and the list of documents in the columns below.
REGISTRATION REQUIRES THAT YOU PRESENT THESE DOCUMENTS BEFORE ENROLLING:
- ONE (1) document from Column A
- OR
- TWO (2) documents from Column B
- OR
- ONE (1) from Column B and ONE (1) from Column C
(* Please be sure to bring all I.D. and other required documents when you come to enroll)
COLUMN A
- A current (i.e., issued less than forty-five (45) days prior to consideration of residency) pay stub that contains the name of the student and shows his or her District of Columbia residency and evidence of D.C. income tax withholdings; or
- Official documentation of financial assistance from the Government of the District of the District of Columbia and issued to the person enrolling the student within the past twelve (12) month, including, but not limited to DC Alliance, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Medicaid, the State Child Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), housing assistance or other programs (membership cards of the above mentioned programs will not be accepted); or
- Supplemental Security Income annual benefits notification issued to the person enrolling the student within the past twelve (12) months and indicating his/her current DC home address; or
- Confirmation, based upon completion and submission of a tax information authorization waiver form, by the D.C. office of Tax and Revenue Indicating payment of D.C. income taxes (for tax year 2008) by the student; or
- Unexpired official military housing orders showing the students name, the name of the person enrolling the student, and their current DC home address and official stamp; or
- Proof that the child is a ward of the District of Columbia, in the form or either (a) a letter from a placement agency or a social worker acting on behalf of the Child and Family Services Agency, or (b) a court order; or
- Embassy letter, with an issue date after April 1, 2009, showing the name of the person enrolling the student, a statement indicating that the person enrolling the student live on embassy property in the District of Columbia, and an official embassy seal.
COLUMN B
- Current (unexpired) motor vehicle registration showing the name of the student and indicating District of Columbia residency;
- A valid unexpired lease agreement and paid receipts or cancelled checks (for a period within two (2) months immediately preceding consideration of residency) for payment of rent on a District of Columbia residence in which the student actually resides;
- A valid unexpired D.C. motor vehicle operators permit or other official non-driver identification in the name of the student; or
- One utility bill (excluding telephone bills) and paid receipts or cancelled checks (from a period within the two months immediately preceding consideration of residency) in the name of the student that shows a District of Columbia residence address.
COLUMN C
- Official correspondence from the District and/or federal agencies (INS, Social Security, etc.) dated within 45 days of enrollment;
- Employment authorization (e.g., current temporary work identification);
- Court documents within six months of enrollment;
- Current letter from rental agencies on agency letterhead verifying a students residence at the property;
- Bank statements documenting the students address over the past three (3) months;
- Letters from employers for whom the paycheck stubs do not carry the employees address; and
- Employer proof of withholding of District of Columbia taxes for employees who reside with the employer.
