Computer Support Specialist 100 - (CSS 100)

Monday - Friday: (8:45am - 11:30am)
Monday - Thursday: (6:00pm - 9:00pm)
Alternate Saturdays: (9:00am - 12:00pm)
** Class schedule based on adequate enrollment

Students learn computer hardware and software components and prepare to pass both A+ certification tests to become fully certified Computer Support Specialists. The hardware portion of the class teaches students the history of computers, their various components, and how computers function. The software portion of the class teaches students about computer programs, operating system fundamentals, how to install applications, and troubleshooting software issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must live in DC
Complete registration
Successful completion of English as a Second Language (ESL) Level 7 or demonstrate the equivalent English language proficiency
GED or High School Diploma
Information session attendance is mandatory and will provide you the opportunity to learn more about the program and the industry
