The Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School knows that students have many needs relating to their everyday life that extend beyond the academic program. Unfortunately, sometimes these issues can become barriers to academic advancement and personal growth. The Supportive Services department was grown out of the commitment that the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School can help students address and overcome these barriers.
The Supportive Services department endeavors to reach as many students as possible. The multi-cultural staff includes speakers of Amharic, French, Spanish and Vietnamese. Any and all questions are encouraged. The department aims to build increased awareness, confidence, and community involvement within the student body.
Each school year, the department develops an extensive program of offerings based on current student and community need. The department provides services in the following areas:
