For 40 years Sonia Gutierrez has dedicated her life to the mission and growth of the Carlos Rosario School and to educating and empowering diverse immigrant communities. She has transformed countless lives and continues to inspire thousands of individuals who have benefitted from her commitment and contributions.
We invite you to join the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School community and the Carlos Rosario Educational Foundation in a year-long anniversary celebration to honor Sonia's 40 years of service and ensure the sustainability and growth of the Carlos Rosario model.
Provide support for our general scholarship fund which directly impacts our students and helps them achieve their highest education goals.
In the spring of 2013, the Carlos Rosario School will open a new state-of-the-art campus in Ward 5. Your support of this new facility will allow us to more than double Workforce Development programs, provide furnishing and equipment, and create our sustainability fund for this building.
This is the perfect opportunity to get creative. Host a house party, a happy hour, a bake sale, or ask your loved ones to donate in lieu of gifts for a special event. If you own a local business, you can donate proceeds from your sales, and help us make every dollar count.
This year we'll leverage support from our volunteers with various opportunities at the school, in the community, and with our students.
